A six week team competition inside the Dad Unit and Mom Unit fitness apps. A fire team is just your crew: five or more people who agree to show up for each other. Every week your team scores in five events. Six weeks of scores stack up against every other team in the season.
Moms: your app is Mom Unit. Same season, same scoreboard.
The competition is simple. Normal life, counted, and scored against every other team.
Five people minimum, no maximum. Male, female, or co-ed. Everything is scored on your team AVERAGE per member, so a squad of 5 can absolutely take down a squad of 50. Bring everybody: your buddies, your brother, the neighbor who's been talking about getting back in shape. Every member who shows up makes your team stronger.
Steps. Habits, meaning the daily stuff you told the app you'd do. Workouts. Nutrition, meaning you logged it and hit your numbers. And a Saturday challenge, one workout everybody does, same one, whole community. Showing up scores it, whether you go full speed or scale it down.
Magnitude counts. 22,000 steps beats 10,001. This isn't just about ticking the box, it's about how hard you tick it.
All five events score every week, and one of them pays double. Which one gets revealed Monday morning, so nobody plans their week around their strong suit.
Week 1 is all hands. Every member who posts a perfect week, every habit ticked every scheduled day, multiplies the whole team's week 1 points. Full roster perfect means DOUBLE points. The season can be won or lost in the first seven days.
Every Sunday night your team chat gets the Battle Brief from Sgt Gainz: the scoreboard, the week's MVP, the biggest mover, and THE SHIT LIST. Post a zero in any event and your name goes on it. Every week. No exceptions.
Everyone on the winning team. Not just the captain.
A free month of Dad Unit or Mom Unit for every member of the champion team.
A permanent Season 1 champion badge on your account. The first badge ever issued only gets issued once. It sits on your account forever.
Season bragging rights that never expire. Every future season, you were first.
Dads use Dad Unit, moms use Mom Unit, and the battles run across both. Same season, same scoreboard.
Download Dad Unit or Mom Unit and set up your profile.
Open Fire Team Battles from the home screen (click on the banner up top). Start your own team and pull your buddies in, join a team with the invite code someone sent you, or tell us your state and we'll put you on a team near you. Nobody sits out for lack of friends.
That is the whole strategy. Walk, lift, log your food, tick your boxes, and don't let your team down.
The season is free. You pay for the app, and that's it. Six weeks of competition costs you two months of your regular app membership ($24.99/mo). Future seasons may carry a buy-in, so season one will never be this cheap again.
Dads get Dad Unit. Moms get Mom Unit. The battles run across both apps, so co-ed teams work fine. One season, one scoreboard.
No. Look at the events: walking, logging your food, ticking daily habits, showing up on Saturday. The one standard is training: a minimum of 3 lifting days per week. The app gives you the plan. You bring the effort at your level.
That's what Assign Me is for. Tell us your state and we place you on a team near you. Most people can't produce four willing friends. Nobody sits out for lack of them.
Week 1 and the final week, required. During the season it's just a box you tick on Mondays. Six weeks from now you'll want the before photo, trust us.
Rosters lock at the end of week 2. After that the field is the field. If you're reading this before Aug 23, there's still a door, but every week you wait is points your team never gets back.
Five quick questions so we know who's showing up. Lock in your spot at the end. Takes about a minute.
